The Tea Museum is a must-visit for any tea 🍵 enthusiast or anyone curious about the history and making of tea. With an affordable entry fee of ₹50, you get access to a wealth of information spread across three floors.

The interiors of the museum are very antique as the seating area was all made up of wood & one of the sofa & chair caught my eyes which were made out of waste from reused empty Oil drums 🛢️ recycled as scrap material used as furniture for sitting - a testament to sustainability and creativity. Isn’t that amazing ? 🤩

There are total 2 floors in the museum where each level unfolds a new chapter in the saga of tea. Meticulously curated exhibits detailing tea's origins, historical significance, and cultural evolution.

Where on the ground floor the history of tea like where it is originated from and every small detail is given.

On the first floor all the equipments used to make tea are showcased. Guests are treated to a captivating display of the tools and techniques integral to the art of tea-making. From traditional utensils to modern innovations, the evolution of tea culture is laid bare, inviting admiration and appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every brew.

The second floor offers a “ Tea Bar “ where one can taste different varieties of Tea’s which is fabulous. We 3 tried out their White Tea 🍵 Mint tea 🍵 Black coffee☕️ All of these were freshly made and tasted superb refreshing. Just outside the Tea bar there’s a small stall where we can purchase Tea powder / coffee powder, attar ( Ittar ).

Witnessing the seamless communication between staff and special guests, such as those who communicate solely through sign language, is a heartwarming testament to the museum's commitment to accessibility and community. Hats off 🫡 to the team of the museum creating a comfortable...

Let me give you a honest review , we went on 2nd Dec on our way back home , The tea museum has a 100 year old history , it was a tea factory during the british era which now is non functioning so they turned in to a museum , the two storeyed wooden building stores few machines and tools and things from the old era when factory was running , 2nd floor has a tea corner for drinking tea and some sales of tea and spices , but during our visit there were hardly any visitors . the whole setup is very genuine and decent but i think they should add some more and make it a little more interesting for the visitors since many people from other states too visit this place , items in the museum were very less and not much related to tea manufacturing , most were filled with random items live VCR and tv which were still in use a decade back , CRT computers ,old wired telephone and also some spanners ( spanners are still used ) . Overall if you are adventurous and someone who likes to study about history then you will love this place but for someone who wont understand it then it can be boring . I had read that they have tea tasting and many different tea experience but we dint see it or no one asked us ,maybe due to covid visitors were very less when we went and we did not find any staff also there . Hope they have all this during tourist seasons .
