Read moreI have been to this place once, recently. Experience is good for the first timer. Unique selling point of this place is their 111ft tall Shiva lingam. From outside its just a gigantic structure, cool part is inside, you have get 100rs ticket to enter, You will be sent in as a group of 10 - 12 people and will be assigned to one priest, his duty is to explain what is in there in each floor(it will be carvings of Shiva in his different reincarnations, and at the top it will be Shiva and Parvathi in Kailasam ) over all its not a bad experience (at least a devotional person like my mother will enjoy it once)
Now!!!! I would suggest not to go now(nov-2022) they are building something more just next to it, if you see in the picture attached, as an extension to this lingam they are building hanuman carrying sanjeevani mountain, so if you are travelling from distance, visit after completion of this thing. I'm hoping that it is also worth seeing once.
By the way don't forgot to get looted, they are doing this for profit, ticket prices are high, they wont allow you to carry camera/ phones/ bags like so. (and they wont say it at the ticket counter), at the end of the queue they will say these are not allowed and, they have some set up stores to loot money again from us by charging 5rs per phone 25rs for bag(not sure)
(Note: This whole lingam is very acoustic, being a native speaker, I didn't understand a word that priest said, his talking is just for the sake) and I don't think there is any...
