Jorasi Hanuman Mandir ReviewOverview Located on the Gwalior-Jhansi Highway (NH44), 21 km south of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Jorasi Hanuman Mandir is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This 200-year-old temple, situated in Jorasi village, is a spiritual haven for devotees and travelers, renowned for its divine ambiance and historical significance.Historical and Cultural Significance Legend has it that about two centuries ago, Lord Hanuman appeared in the form of a statue under a peepal tree, marking the temple’s sacred origin. Since then, it has been a focal point for worship, especially on Tuesdays, considered Hanuman’s day, when large crowds gather for darshan and bhajans. The temple’s spiritual energy, or pranashakti, is believed to fulfill devotees’ wishes, enhancing its popularity.Architectural and Spiritual Ambiance The temple, recently renovated, features a spacious layout with intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere. It houses a striking Hanuman statue and a nearby Mahadev Shivling, with a Mahalaxmi temple under construction nearby. The rhythmic chants of Hanuman Chalisa and bhajans create a calming environment, ideal for meditation and prayer. Photography is restricted, preserving the sanctity of the space.Visitor Experience Visitors praise the temple’s peaceful vibe and positive energy, with roadside shops offering prasad, flowers, and local delicacies like samosas and kullhad chai. Tuesdays and Hanuman Jayanti see festive crowds, so visiting on other days is recommended for a quieter experience. Ample roadside parking is available, though not designated. A very beautiful temple of Hanuman ji situated near Gwalior jhansi highway i.e. nearby Gwalior main city. You can visit here with family and friends and worship bajrangbali . Along with hanuman ji , it also consists of mahadev shivling 😁 Hanuman chalisa , Bhajan kirtan can always heard over here. Have so many shops of prasad , flowers and other pooja things outside the temple only. Also there's a beautiful and huge mahalaxmi mandir building beside this temple. After darshan when you come outside of temple there's so many shops in front of temple selling breakfast having samosa , kachori , bedai sabji , jalebi , laddoo and so many things along with Jaurasi's famous kulhad chai, my personal suggestion, you must have samosa and chai of jaurasi. Parking space not specifically available but you can park vehicle at roadside . Do visit 😁
