Sita Rasoi Chitrakoot — Attraction in Madhya Pradesh

Sita Rasoi, is believed to be a place where Maa Sita, cookd food for five rishis, during the 14 years of exil of SRI RAM. It is located on the top of a hill call Hanuman dhara, with pleasant atmosphere. Sita Rasoi is situated in Chitrakoot district, of the state Uttar Pradesh, in India. After the Darshan of Hanuman Dhara, in middle of the hill, we should have to climb near about Hundred feet, on the top of a hill for this Sita Rasoi. There in Chitrakoot we face the harassment by the Pujaris. It is not in a good condition and is just an old small room. Sometimes It is very frustrating to visit Sita Rasoi since there 22-25 small temples and all the priest will ask the name and try to do Tilak to get money. धर्म नगरी चित्रकूट को भगवान प्रभु श्री राम की तपोस्थली भी कहा जाता है. मान्यताओं के मुताबिक प्रभु श्री राम ने अपने 14 वर्ष के वनवास में साढ़े ग्यारह वर्ष चित्रकूट में ही बिताए थे.चित्रकूट के रामघाट से लगभग 6 किलोमीटर दूर वह जगह है, जहां माता सीता ने अपना सबसे अधिक समय बिताया है. इस धाम में माता सीता की रसोई भी है. जहां माता सीता खाना बनाती थी. ऋषि मुनियों को कराया गया था भोजनचित्रकूट के महंत दिव्य जीवन दास ने कि प्रभु श्री राम, माता जानकी, लखन जी के साथ जिस समय वनवास काल के दिन चित्रकूट में बिता रहे थे. उन्हें उस समय यहां के कोल आदिवासी लोग कंदमूल फल दिया करते थे. एक दिन प्रभु श्री राम के मन में एक विचार आया कि अयोध्या में वह तमाम साधु संतों को भोजन करवाते थे लेकिन वह यहां नहीं करवा पाए. तब माता जानकी ने प्रभु श्री राम के मन की बात को जान लिया और और स्वयं माता जानकी ने अपने कर कमलो से चूल्हे का निर्माण करके भोजन तैयार किया. वहां के पांच ऋषि मुनियों को बुलाया गया और उन ऋषि मुनियों को भोजन कराया गया.

इस मंदिर में प्रतीकात्मक तौर पर रसोई के बर्तन रखे हैं. जिनमें चकला और बेलन के अलावा रसोई में इस्तेमाल के दूसरे बर्तन रखे गए हैं. दरअसल, परंपरा के मुताबिक घर में आई नई वधु रस्म के तौर पर परिवार के सभी लोगों के लिए खाना तैयार करती थी. हालांकि कहा जाता है कि माता सीता ने ये रस्म नहीं की थी. लेकिन इस रसोई का महत्व माता अन्नपूर्णा के मंदिर जैसा ही विशाल है. कहा जाता है

Never ever go to sita rasoi which is upstairs. There are thief who rob you. There are many small temples madw by them and they ask you to donate money in every single temple. All the way has been made by them so if you enter once you have to face every crrok man there. Personlly it was a horrific experince for me... i repet never go to sita rasoi. Just take darshan of hanuman dhara...
