Akkalkot Palace — Attraction in Maharashtra

One of the best historical heritage from 18th century, this place is not only a palace but is a museum inside having vere rare and beautiful collection of armoury and skin of rare animals from the 2nd World War. The quantity of armoury is so huge that it's impossible to calculate them. The armory collection includes various swords from the 2nd world war, Persian Guns and other accessories. The animal skin collection includes tiger, bear, crocodile, and other animals which are rare to see. Besides this they have amazing collection of you cars. It's open most of the time in visiting hours from 9am to 7 PM. Talking about the maintenance, it's not up to the mark as we can see dust everywhere and weapons are rusting. When I visited this only around 4 rooms of palace are opend, allowed visit which all rooms are filled up with weapons especially different types of old guns, toys of kids, different types of swords which are used by old kings family of this area

Some animals bodies also preserved heard like bear 🐻 , crocodile🐊

This palace is kept in a good condition but you can see these from outside as inside the palace is not allowed. There is one private museum called Royal Armory Museum in the back side of palace which is very interesting part. You have to buy a ticket from the office which is at the ground floor of the museum. Here you can see lots of swords,arrows,bhalas,old big guns, the shikars of The Raja ie composed bear,crocodile and lot more which were used at that time when Raja Fattehsing Bhosle who was the ruler of akkalkot from 1894 A.D. to 1923 A.D.
