Read moreVery pleasant water falls, I travelled from Hubli to baba water falls.
After belgaum there is single road and road is not bad. It is exactly 74 km from belgaum.
There are no signage’s on the way to falls so you need to ask people on the way else you will get lost in the lush greenery jungle.
After travelling 25 kms from Belgaum towards Baba waterfalls there is no network of Airtel, very poor signal of BSNL, navigation won’t work hence I took 2 wrong turns and had to travel 15km on the wrong way.
During my visit there was moderate rain fall, and baba water falls is rain water falls the fall thickness is dependent on the rain in that forest hilly region.
People can go close to water falls and you can even stand below the falls to play. There are no toilets and changing rooms for ladies near falls.
There is one small eatery close the water falls, there you can find toilets and changing rooms for gents and ladies, provided you buy something from that eatery.
On the way to falls you will find many small streams and the lush green landscape is enthralling.
Drive slow and safe, please don’t leave plastic, liquor bottles and other thrash on...
Read moreTo reach this waterfalls we should take a left from the amboli ghat road and head around 20 kilometres inside. That 20 kilometer stretch is average and some part of the road has big potholes, make sure to have the correct tire pressure.
Once we reach near the falls, there is a makeshift hut with a barricade which notes down the vehicle numbers and collects entry fee.
The entry fee is INR 50 per person and vehicle parking is included in this.
After entering the barricade either we can park our vehicle and trek around 1 km, or else we can take two wheelers all the way near the water fall.
After reaching the waterfall you can enjoy the clean water descending from the mountain above. We have 3 waterfalls in this area. We can also see the valley below.
We can trek and climb below the waterfall drop but doing so is risky in monsoon time when rain will be too much. But in summer and winter we can trek down.
Road leading to the waterfall is very slippery maje sure you wear good trekking boots else you may slip and fall in the valley below.
Overall it's a very good place to visit and witness the beauty of the western...
