Chichdoh barrage — Attraction in Maharashtra

Nice cold and clean water. Don't be reckless on the other side of barrage, couple of crocodiles resides there (as per locals, we didn't went that far). We went the next day of opening of one of barrage and even though gates were closed water flow was quite good. Good place for tourists but can't get anything to eat or drink except ber ( berries) and river water ( don't know if it's drinkable) so get your food and water with you from chamorshi. Garden work was going on so may be in few months garden will be there. We went on monday still the place wasn't lonely. If not tourist, people from the neighbourhood crossing the river will be there and any way security and other working peoples...

Discovered this place when I visited the nearby Markhanda Temple. Saw a Huge structure Built onto the river, it caught my attention from 10 kms far. I enquired locals of how to get here and they guided me with the route. Amazed by the volume of the barrage and the flora and Fauna within the region. Really a good place to visit with friends and family. You can walk over the barrage, there is a route constructed throughout the barrage and open for public to visit. Guards are present everytime to prevent mishaps from happening. Overall a nice experience , specially if you have keen interest in such structures and want to know...

Last year's 2022 Waingana river barrage so wonderful place is first time my visit and but you to give can't there place friend and family student picnic visit me and my bro chichdoh barrage wow outstanding and Really I liked it's placed but you visit in month7 rainy season Area view incredible overfull water...
