At a distance of 2 Km from Mahabaleshwar Bus Stand, Dhobi Waterfall is an enchanting waterfall on Old Mahabaleshwar -Petit Road. Dhobi Waterfall is placed facing the famous Elphinstone Point. The waterfall is enclosed on all sides with rocks and the water drops down into the Mahabaleshwar Valley and finally meets the Koyna River. Set amidst lush green valley, the fall is a perfect picnic spot to spend a fun-filled day with family and friends. The best time to visit the falls is in rainy season or just after rainy season over.

Went to the Dhobi waterfall on recommendation of a local person and it was a palce which is not so easily accessible., can visit once.Nice place to enjoy, bath and relax with family Enjoyed a lot and felt fresh and energetic after taking a bath in this water fall. Nice scenic beauty and calm environment.Mini waterfall Though the fall is not from much height, but still enjoyed a lot visiting this place as it was very peaceful. One can go in the middle of the water and enjoy.

Dhobi waterfall: The Dhobi Waterfall is one of the most fascinating waterfalls that connects the famous Lodwick Point and Elphinstone Point. Picturesque scenic beauty and age-old rocks surround the waterfall. This place happens to be an ideal holiday destination for individuals interested in spending some time in the lap of mother nature.

Best time to visit

Summers (March - June): In the hill station of Mahabaleshwar, summer seasons are not marked by extreme heat and humidity. The skies usually remain clear and weather remains pleasant, making the months of March to June an ideal time to visit Mahabaleshwar Temple.

Monsoon (July - September): You should avoid visiting Mahabaleshwar Temple in the rainy season from the month of July to September, as there are risks of frequent landslides and roadblocks. In this time, Mahabaleshwar receives heavy rainfall and tourism is just not possible.

Winters (October - February): As per tourism is concerned, the best time to visit Mahabaleshwar Temple is the months of October to February. Mahabaleshwar experiences a friendly climate for tourism in the winter season and invites host of visitors from...

The Dhobi Waterfall is a good choice for those seeking a peaceful and thrilling experience. The pathway towards the fall is muddy but the hike is absolutely worth it. The green belt of mountains bursts with the colours of nature. While entering into Dhobi Waterfalls’ premises, you will come across various trees, migratory birds, and of course, clear blue skies.

Just a 10-minute drive away from Mahabaleshwar, Dhobi waterfall’s location feels fully tropical. Cafe-hopping and picnic planning are one of the most exciting activities near the fall. In contrast with these activities, travellers in search of solitude are also heartily welcomed. The tranquil location regularly attracts foreigners and tourists. The place is also perfect for planning some exotic photo shoots. Don’t forget to pack your...
