Read moreI visited this place in last week of August 2022. The rain was settled and the water in late and river is also reduced compared to July month. It's a beautiful place with lovely views. Due to less water it was safe to get inside water and enjoy the dip. The water is clean and flowing. Less crowd and fortunately not much of commercialization!! This place is must visit if you live in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai.
Few points to consider
The actual dam is closed for common public. You need to drive further post the map's spot and reach a bridge. This place has access to water.
It's advisable to carry some snaks items, however do not litter around. Carry the waste back home and dispose off.
Mostly on Saturday and Sunday police don't allow tourists. It's better to start early and cross the Nhare village ASAP before police starts checking, ideally before 9-10 am
Last but not least, water levels are low but there are deep spots and patches where one can slip, hence take care and avoid...
