A renowned attraction in Wardha that attracts many visitors throughout the year. The place is famous for the inscription of 18 Gita verses on the vertically placed stones arranged in the shape of a cow, something which is very unique among the sacred and religious places in India. The Gita inscribed on the stones is a Marathi lyrical version of the original Bhagvat Gita translated by Acharya Vinoba Bhave. There is a place called 'Shanti Kuti' in the vicinity that portrays the life of Jamanalal Bajaj, Mahatma Gandhi and Acharya Vinoba Bhave in the form of historical pictures and textual information. The only way the young people can visit this place if u come with your family, as per him. We, a group of friend travelled from pune and Mumbai to visit wardha- a place of Gandhi an vinoba and all we have to do for visiting is to fight with them, to visit gitai mandir an vishva shanti stupa. I do understand that they want to maintain its serenity and purity but to see every youngster from the same lenses is absurd.
