Live the nature aur kho jaao isme. On our way to Peb Fort by using rail route hum Peb kille pe jaane se pahle we changed the route to Kadyavarcha Ganpati. Walking for about 1.5 hours from the base point and following the toy train route we chose Kadyavarcha Ganpati as our stop to stay and rest. We had some snacks and just sat there coz we were extremely dehydrated. Believe me jab hum Kadyavarcha Ganpati jaane ke liye neeche utar rahe the (from the board written) there was a drinks stall offering nimbu pani and kokam sarbat also cold cucumber. If you want then please do take and go for trek with your 2 bottles full of water. Iske baad route badlake you'll head towards Peb Fort and you won't get a drop of water until you reach the top. We prayed for happiness and positivity at Kadyavarcha Ganpati. Clicked photographs and took a rest. It was memorable. Visit once it's...

Kadyavarcha Ganpati SG refers to a significant Lord Ganesha idol and surrounding area located near Matheran, Maharashtra. The Marathi word "Kadya" means edge, and the idol is carved out of a massive rock situated on the edge of a hill, offering a unique and striking appearance. This rock-cut Ganesh idol is a popular attraction for visitors to Matheran. It is located approximately 4 kilometers from the main parking area, requiring a trek along the railway tracks to reach it. The vibrant colors used to paint the idol make it easily visible and lively against the backdrop of the lush green hills.

The trek to Kadyavarcha Ganpati is considered relatively easy and offers scenic views, especially during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons when the surrounding greenery is at its peak. It provides a peaceful and spiritual experience away from the bustling main areas...

hi, Kadyavarcha Ganpati is place located near pillar point 158 on Neral Matheran Track of mini Train. This is start or end point for Peb Fort Trekking also. There are two ways to reach there One from Neral Side and other from Matheran side. To start with Neral side you need to take a cab available from Neral station and ask the driver to leave you from start Point for Ganpati. They will drop you at that point. Drawback of this route is it takes little bit more time approximately 1 hr. to reach the spot. As compared from Matheran side you need to purchase Entry ticket and decent down which takes 45 min. as per your speed. At Exact location you can see a bell from where stairs are made in raw form. Another bell is also there from where you can see the statue of Bappa but cant decent from that place. You can see rush on weekend and almost vey few...

As the monsoon season starts the beauty of hill stations enhances. Matheran has been a go to place for mumbaikar's to enjoy the rainy environment. Vikatgad fort which is also known as Peb fort is located in this region which also bring joy for trekkers. While trekking towards peb fort you will find a popular tourist attraction known as Kadyavarcha Ganpati. The specialty of this temple is that the idol of Lord Ganesha built in it is carved from a single boulder. The word 'Kada' in Marathi means edge and hence, this idol got its name because it is situated on the side of a mountain. A short trek and you reach to this spot. During monsoons, the views this spot offers leaves the visitors breathless!

This place called Kadyavarcha Ganpati because the Ganpati is located on the edge of the mountain and kada means edge in the native language marathi. Beautiful and Peaceful place to visit .Its one of the popular tourist attractions in hill station in Matheran. Good for trekkers as after visiting here you can move forward for vikatgad Peb fort trek. It takes you to reach one and half hours from Kadyavarcha Ganpati to vikatgad Peb fort. In rainy season suggested to wear sports shoes as it's little risky as you can slip here as my both the casual shoes was damaged. Overall Loved the peacefull place
