Karwale Dam — Attraction in Maharashtra

I would like to make some very important points here: It a scenic view point, don't expect much from it. the last 10% of the road is bad , if you're on bike ,be careful of those sharp stones . best time to visit would be rains/winter Sinchan lake ia just 4 km away from this dam . Very beauriful place . Make sure you take the ledt side walking route , that'll take you to a small waterfall .

Went for a long drive from Mumbai … the village roads near by were fun drive , road close to dam is dirt and rocks . There is an abandoned looking small warehouse where you can park and on right of it there are broken stones steps covered by grass leading to dam. Took us 5 min to figure that out. Very first thing i like about this Dam is that there is no one there to tell you that it's not allowed to go up there to the dam. And from your side you should also look that if you are going there then you should not do something wrong there. Enjoy but at a limit. Do not cross the line.
