This temple is located in Mulgaon ( Badlapur )..

Mulgaon village is located at badlapur-murbad highway, 10 km away from badlapur city...

The road from badlapur to this location is quite good..

Parking - At base there is a parking space for all kind of vehicles..

Best time to visit temple is monsoon /rainy season.

If you want visit the temple in summer or winter, try to climb in morning or evening when there is no sun as it will be tiring in afternoon.

Though it is a bit harder if you are climbing for the first time but the scenery view is outstanding and will be worth once you reach.

It's a short trek. There are total nearly 560 stairs. It will take 20-30 minutes to reach on top...

Also any person with health and breathing issues should avoid climbing because it is one of the difficult place to climb as stairs are more than 500 and too steep and not easy to climb. This hike is not recommended for senior citizens...

There are many dogs near temple. Pet lovers Keep some biscuit packets with you.. Feels like God khandobas itself residing here...

When you reach at top, you can see mountains, dense jungle, Barvi Dam's reservoir, Ulhas river everything seems so tiny and beautiful...

The view from the top is Breath taking and very scenic...

Carry your own Water bottles and snacks...

If you are a foodie, don't forget to visit Vaijayanti Dhaba where you get The famous Mulgaon cha Thecha Vadapav.. Try their misal pav also.. washroom facility is also...

if you are looking for short trek very near to mumbai khandoba devsthan is the answer. the religious too can do this trek. it's about 15 km from badlapur station and about 1000 ft height from the base. steps have been built with paver blocks and takes around 45 minutes at leisurely speed tp.climb to the top. the climb is rich with flora and fauna and surrounding views are great. from top observe the 360 degree view of ulhas fed platau and right upto panvel to the east. the temple deity is khandoba and temple has minimal restrictions. views are excellent. the steps are a bit slippery in monsoon. there is an annual fare jn navaratri when you can enjoy a lot of goat meat served...

This is a must Visit place if you love slightest of treking and have a divine feel of Shiva in you. I visited with my 6 year old and wifey. Guess it was easier for 6 year old than us. There were many kids trecking along. There are 558 approx stairs up and same count down. If you climb in zigzag way its easy to go upstairs. Just be more careful while coming down as its knee jerking activity. Try to sir for a while outside temple and feel the divine Breeze you will cherish it. Downstair do try chikis from local vendors, its tasty, hygenic and supports local. Remember to carry your own water and light food as you wont get it at top. Best is Water + Biscuits +...
