Perfect sunset point in the Amboli hills. Approx. an hour from Sawantwadi town. First meander through the Amboli ghat taking in ever mesmerizing views. The 2.5km side road to get to the view point is through forest land and not well maintained. Be prepared for stretches of gravel and numerous pot holes. Hopefully you get lucky and see some animals in their natural habitat. There is a decent sized parking area, and 92 steps climbing down to the main viewpoint. Don't be deterred by this. The view at the bottom is fabulous. We got here ~10mins before sunset and the sun was a glowing ball of orange. We were the only group there so it was really quiet, tranquil and serene. Surrounded by lush greenery and misty hills, it offers breathtaking views that make it a perfect selfie point and a favorite stop for nature and Shiva devotees alike. The iconic Trishul and serene atmosphere add a divine touch, making it a must-visit for spiritual seekers as well.

It was just us friends in large swathes of land. One more perk of this early morning walk is that the weather offers you scenic views like early morning sunrise, fog and mist. Also, there is no one to photobomb when you are taking those wonderful pictures of you with hills in the backdrop.
