Manjarsumba fort is a 14th century structure built by Nizam Shah, who ruled in the nearby Ahmednagar. The Manjarsumba fort is a 14th century structure built, which was mentioned in old British-era documents, but has since been lost to history. One of the best things about Manjarsumba fort is that it had a two-storey structure — called ‘mottha’ — that was used to circulate water all over the fort. This is a very rare finding in any fort. The water was pulled by elephants and that's why called has Hattimote. There is big swimming pool along small water fountain on fort. There was 7 water tanks. There is Hanuman Temple at base of fort. The fort is very easy to climb. It takes less than 15 mins to climb fort & less than hour to see whole fort. Four wheeler or two wheeler can easily be taken till base. 🚫 Additional Caution: Avoid parking your two-wheeler here. My personal experience is they took away all petrol out of my bike when I was exploring the place, and the nearest petrol pump is around 6–7 km away. Local shops sell petrol at inflated prices (30–40% higher than usual). Kindly avoid going to this place specially with girls.

Better Alternative : You can visit Gorakshanath Gad which is situated just 3 kms west to manjarsumba fort. It's a safe place for everyone with spiritual energy in environment and scenic views.
