Title: Delightful Rainy Season Experience at Masai Pathar, with One Downside

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Review:

As a native of Masai Pathar, I had the pleasure of revisiting this beautiful location during the rainy season. The experience was truly delightful, with an abundance of unique flowers that bloom exclusively during this time. Here's a detailed review of my visit:

Scenic Beauty: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Masai Pathar's natural beauty is always a sight to behold, and during the rainy season, it reaches a new level of enchantment. The landscape was adorned with vibrant and rare flowers that only bloom during this time, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. The hills and greenery looked even more picturesque, thanks to the clear weather.

Weather Conditions: ★★★★★ (5/5) The clear weather during the rainy season provided the perfect backdrop for my visit. The absence of rain allowed me to fully immerse myself in the stunning surroundings. The temperature was pleasant, and the clarity of the views added to the overall experience.

Floral Diversity: ★★★★★ (5/5) The rainy season truly brings Masai Pathar to life with its rich floral diversity. I was enthralled by the variety of flowers in full bloom. From colorful orchids to delicate wildflowers, the sight was a feast for the eyes. It was a unique opportunity to witness nature's beauty at its finest.

Open Liquor Consumption: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Unfortunately, the presence of people openly drinking liquor was a disappointing aspect of my visit. While the natural beauty and floral diversity were remarkable, this issue detracted from the overall experience. The authorities should take steps to discourage such behavior and ensure a more pleasant atmosphere for all visitors.

Local Charm: ★★★★☆ (4/5) As a native of the area, I couldn't help but appreciate the charm of Masai Pathar. The local community's warm hospitality and knowledge about the region's flora and fauna added an extra layer of authenticity to my visit. Interacting with the locals and learning about the history of the place made the experience more meaningful.

Overall Experience: ★★★★☆ (4/5) My visit to Masai Pathar during the rainy season was an awesome experience overall. The stunning floral display, coupled with the clear weather, left a lasting impression. However, the issue of open liquor consumption remains a concern. It is my hope that the authorities will address this matter to preserve the natural beauty and serene atmosphere of this...

'Masai Pathar/Masai Pattar'/'Massai Plateau' is one among the many plateaus of Maharashtra. While researching the places to visit around Kolhapur, we stumbled upon Masai Pathar and ensured we visit here. Though unaware of what this place had to offer, post our visit to the lovely fort of Panhala we made sure to stop by and explore. Not knowing what was in store made our visit more exciting and what we witnessed was simply unbelievable! It was nothing less than Heaven on Earth! A paradise less explored, much beautiful and filled with color. We were at a place second only to Khas or rather equally beautiful. The vast expanse of the colorful flower blooms in all directions made it seem like the abode of god. Masai Pathar is one of the bigger plateaus in Maharashtra, located about 8 km from Panhala. As our guide at Panhala gave us directions to Masai, we reached here without any difficulty. The drive to this location was extremely scenic and thanks to the incessant rains that it was lush green all around. We had to cross the village of Masai to reach the pathar. We parked our car right at the start of the plateau and decided to explore by foot. At first, we only saw small pockets of flower blooms spread across the plain land. As we walked further, we found blooms of...

Masai Pathar is very nice place to enjoy the nature around. It's a huge table land ... You need to be a good driver to ride on those patchy and natural roads... In monsoon season you will find beautiful flowers. You may sight wildlife in forest area.... Masai Devi temple is sacred temple but people who sacrifice animal's make place dirty with remains of animals and plastic is shattered... We all need to keep this place clean and neat. Please do not litter on Masai platue. You can bring your own food, water and some food for birds and dog's. There are many cattles and their keepers on way to temple. They will guide you if you have any difficulty to find placee. Follow the path with Flag mark stone.

It has many water lake ( pazar talav ) you will find two Buddhist cave's there one is next to Masai Devi temple. (500 MTR). Not recommended to visit alone as it's inside the valley... Also requested to all visitors not to use that place as party place to cook your nonveg & drinks.... It has historical value... Gentle reminder not to throw bottles everywhere... Those shepherd, animal's or trekker's can get hurt. Enjoy the serenity of the place... beautiful scenary, landscape and me time... Save Nature...
