MTDC Water Park — Attraction in Maharashtra

This is a Dream come True, very large, very scenic, very natural, but very Unassuming wonderful place so close to Lonavala, at Karla, while on a U Turn returning towards Lonavala.

That's the only reason it's so undisturbed, unhurried.

Old Cottages modern amenities & New Buildings with same. Don't miss the OLD some tiny, some large cottages for any modern building.

There's a Reception too, MTDC does take reservations. It's packed to the gills on weekends.

Yes they serve Non vegetarian food as well. They have a Bar with a seperate entrance and exit to the main Restaurant & Banquet entrance. The frontage has a decent park, with benches & Children equipment, so there!!

They have boating at the large water body, a "bund" you could walk across to the vast greens on the other side as well & a huge developing campus - YOU COULD TREK HERE, a mini trek well done.

The Best Elchi Chai is available here, almost always. It has a regular Restaurant The "Indrayni". Nice.

The same Indrayni, extention, doubles up as a BANQUET for large groups Buffet, while a la Carte goes on undisturbed. Great.

This is a low-priced water park, but the hygiene standards are quite poor. The water is not clean, and there are no instructions provided for using the rides. You have to figure things out on your own, which is very dangerous if you don’t know how to use the rides properly. The infrastructure is damaged and appears to be poorly maintained. The swimming pool water seemed like it hadn’t been replaced or sanitized in a long time. If you decide to visit, go with very minimal expectations. The rain dance area and two rides were operational, but you need to stay alert and keep a close watch on children. There are many broken tiles, and no staff members are available to guide you on how to use the rides safely.
