Embarking on the journey to Bhimashankar Nagfani Point is an adventure in itself. Requires 20 mins walk from the temple to the start of the trek and 30-45 minutes for the trek itself. The small trek required to reach the viewpoint may be a bit confusing at times, so it's wise to keep a keen eye on the trail. I'd recommend trekking with a group to ensure everyone stays on the right path and can help each other if needed.

Once you reach the top, the effort is instantly rewarded with a marvellous view that stretches across the horizon. The panorama is a testament to nature's grandeur, with a tapestry of vibrant flowers and lush greenery that fills the soul with immense satisfaction. It's a place where the beauty of the Western Ghats is on full display, and the serenity of the surroundings can rejuvenate even the weariest...

Our group of 5 friends Ramesh Upadhyay, Narendra, Harnedra Jaibeer and myself travelled from Mumbai to Bhimashankar by private vehicle . After Darshan of Lord Shiva , we decided for the trekking to Nagphani point which is around 2.5 Km from temple. Its comfortable walk upto Hanuman temple , aruond 2 km . From there we have climbed the hill for 0.5 km which is little difficult. After reaching the Nagphani point the panoramic seen is unbelievable , one should be very careful on the point and avoid selfie. one should carry plenty of water and good camera to capture...

Nagfani means Snake hood in marathi is situated near famous temple Bhimashankar which is one of the 12 Jyotirling in India and its on the bucket list of many trek enthusiasts. Best time to trek is monsoon and its draw good crowds from Pune, Mumbai and near by places.

During sacred month of 'Shravan' which occurs in the month of July to August every year is the busiest time when devotees visit in large numbers for Lord Shankar Temple especially on Monday.

If you want to enjoy scenic beauty of hill, better avoid these period and its advisable to carry your own...

If you are planning to visit bhimashankar then do visit this point. The view from the top is just amazing. 30 mins maximum trail treaking and once you reach to top point you will see beautiful breath taking view 😍. Amazing sahyadri hill range and Padargad also visiable from naagphani point . End of moonsoon is best time where you see clouds foggs and greenry such nice combination. I have spent 2 hours there ... Such nice experience
