Nhavankond waterfall — Attraction in Maharashtra

The way is very smooth, easy to drive, The best time is obviously during monsoon season, the water is not too shallow. For a person who is 5'7, the water level is upto shoulder, not so deep. There are rocks on which you can easily stand. Not a difficult route to reach the falls. The village has already built a route for you to reach there. Small fishes tickle you always. There is a stand for support, to stand and click pictures. Very safely for school kids as well. Dont let them jump alone unless you're not fond of your kids :P But definitely taking proper caution is a must, there is a risk of slipping if you try to climb those rocks and plus those rocks have sharp edges, you might also cut yourself. Anyway, the overall experience was amazing and very calming....

Nhavankond Waterfall took my breath away. The journey to get there feels like an adventure in itself, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic landscapes. Once you arrive, the sight of water cascading down the rocky cliffs into a clear natural pool is truly mesmerizing.

What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere — it’s less crowded than other tourist spots, making it perfect for relaxation, photography, or just soaking in nature’s beauty. The sound of the waterfall combined with the fresh air is incredibly calming.

सध्या देवगडमधील एक धबधबा सर्व पर्यटकांचा आकर्षणाचा विषय ठरतो आहे. देवगड तालुक्यापासून अवघ्या १२ किलोमीटरवर असलेल्या तळवडे-न्हावनकोंड धबधब्याकडे पर्यटक आकर्षित होत आहेत. तळेबाजार-तळवडे येथील वर्षा पर्यटनासाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेला न्हावनकोंडचा धबधबा. मान्सूनच्या पहिल्याच पावसात धबधबा प्रवाहीत झाला की अनेक पर्यटक आनंद लुटण्यासाठी या धबधब्याकडे वळतांना दिसतात.

अल्पावधीतच परिचित होऊन हजारो वर्षा पर्यटकांना आकर्षित करणाऱ्या न्हावनकोंड धबधब्याची एक ओळख निर्माण झाली आहे. या धबधब्याच्या सुशोभिकरणाचे काम देवगड पंचायत समितीने केले आहे. तेव्हापासून या धबधब्याकडे हजारो पर्यटक व देवगड तालुक्यातील स्थानिक जनताही भेट देऊ लागली आहे.

निसर्ग सौंदर्याने सजलेला देवगड तालुका असून या तालुक्यामध्ये अनेक पर्यटन स्थळे आहेत. देवगड बीच, कुणकेश्वर येथील कुणकेश्वर मंदिर, देवगड येथील वॅक्स म्युझियम, विजयदुर्ग किल्ला, वाडा येथील विमलेश्वर मंदिर, गिर्ये रामेश्वर येथील रामेश्वर मंदिर व धबधबे असल्याने तालुक्यामध्ये वर्षाच्या बारमाही हंगामामध्ये पर्यटक येथे येत असतात..
