Getting to Pawna Lake from either Mumbai or Pune is a scenic journey in itself—about a 2-3 hour drive from Mumbai and just 1.5 hours from Pune, making it the perfect weekend escape. The route winds through lush greenery, with charming views of the Western Ghats and countryside landscapes that gradually unfold into beautiful hills and valleys. As we got closer, the peaceful surroundings built up the anticipation, setting the perfect tone for the retreat ahead. Celebrating Deven’s birthday by the lake was unforgettable, with the setting making every moment feel that much more magical.
