Rawanwadi Dam and Reservoir — Attraction in Maharashtra

An excellent place where you can enjoy whole day with family and Freinds.

Earlier it was not that much good place but now they have created place so that you can spend a whole day there with boating , camel riding , and various little fun and games.

If you r living in Nagpur or nearby nagpur then this is must visit place situated near almost 15 to 20km from bhandara.

This place surrounds lake with nature , a temple situated on peak where you have to hike to reach there however a small temple of amba Mata at lower side where you can sit and relax and small garden besides that.

You can come here with planning of afternoon lunch however you can come here with all untensils and make meal under the shade of trees and enjoy with songs and games.

Restaurent is available here for breakfast , lunch or brunch as well as they provide lodge facility those who want to live there. You need to contact them for more info.

A good place to visit or one day trip to this lakeside view place to enjoy but before evening we have to leave this place as police patroling starts.

Area is too vast. More space for parking. Weekend will be more crowdy. Go with cash is in hands as mostly no network spots in that area however shop owners not preferred...

I recently visited Rawanwadi, Bhandara for Destination wedding program and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and service .There were arrangements of Bride and Groom families separately on different different places. The restaurant has a great ambience and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. There is beautiful big lake surrounded with trees. There is a gardon for spending the time which is good for small kids. Small roads surrounded with trees and greenery. I never thought that I would like a dam, but this place is a surprising exception. We get a vast area of back water land for recreational activities. This place becomes almost a spacious sea shore. This place is far better than Khindsi where motorboats' oil always keep the water covered. This lake doesn't have any motorboats. In addition, vast area facilitates great air flow.
