After waiting for couple of days, inquisitive owner, guarded a cow and found out a surprising fact. At the current temple place of Shri Mahadev, that time, there was small hillock,surrounded by paddy fields. Hillock was covered with small trees & bushes. Some old houses were also seen at the site. The owner of the cow, saw the cow disappearing in the trees on hillock. He carefully followed the cow and surprised with scene of cow doing milk ABHISHEK on the SHIVALING which was covered with fallen leafs of trees around. Thus from this scene onwards this SWAYAMBHU SHIVALING came into light & people started worshipping at this place. Further in the beginning of the 20th century, peoples in the Kasarwarnem village were severely affected by some unknown disease. At that time VASUDEV MAHARAJ from ZOLAMBE MAHARASHTRA arrived here.
