Nice place to visit. It is nearly 2 km from Nagpur Chandrapur Road. To reach the temple: when you reach bhadrawati take right from balasahab Thakre gate, follow straight and cross old bus stand and nagar panchayat for nearly 2 km, the bhadranag mandir is on left side. There is ample parking space with pavement bricks, also few flower shops are located at entrance. I have visited the temple some 3-4 years back, but this visit was quite a surprise, the temple has been completely renovated and new halls has been constructed. The main attraction of the temple is the idol of bhadranag or the big serpent, the idol of serpent is with 9 hoods, which is again a unique thing, one can feel the vibrations inside the temple, along with main idol there are other idols as Lord vishnu, Lord Shankara, Ma adi Shakti etc. The temple is also characterised by a old well, the well depicts shiv ling as it is in a form of shiv ling. Also in entrance hall there is a Hanuman temple and a nearly 20 25 ft high trident or trishul. Importance : As per inner Science, the serpent represents the kundalini or the latent dormant energy which is present in coiled form at the coccygeal Centre at the base of spine, the yogic science teaches about the awakening of this kundalini energy so oneself can explore its hidden potential. The shiva depicts the adi Yogi, or the original ancient Yogi who has serpent coiled on his neck, which represents that the adi Yogi has awakened his kundalini energy or force and it has assended through his spine and he is now holding it at neck, also he has a moon in his jata or large hairs which depicts a awakened third eye located at pt between eyebrow. Management : The management committee is guite good, it is at present lead by Dr. Milmile. Dr. Milmile is a renounced General practioner at bhadrawati, also I cannot fail to mention the name of Dr. Niete as pediatric practitioner. Both of them have served to the needy people of bhadravati, The Pandit or Priest is Mr. Joshi, his father was the main priest of Shri Balaji temple, the Joshi family is quite honest and render self less service. Also visit Gawarala temple and Buddha leni at bahdravati, the bhadranag temple is a...
