Shri Mrityunjay Pardeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Parbhani is a significant religious site known for its unique Shivling made of mercury (Parad). This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, was built by Sri Swami Satchidanand Saraswati. The temple stands at a height of about 80 feet and is constructed of marble. The Shivling, weighing around 250 kg, is one of the largest mercury Shivlings in India, and it holds the same religious significance as the twelve Jyotirlingas.

The temple is located opposite Beleshwar College on Nandkheda Road in Parbhani. It is accessible by air via Nanded airport, by rail with Parbhani railway station connected to major cities, and by road through national highways linking Parbhani to cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Visitors can experience the serene and spiritual atmosphere at this temple from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. The temple complex covers an area of 4000 square meters, providing ample space for devotees to...

It is a unique temple dedicated to Shiva in the heart of the city of Parbhani. It is a large temple within a dense residential area with small approach routes. It has a long foot path with gardens, lotus pond and Gaushala till the main entrance. Inside the temple gates, it has dedicated mandirams for Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Mahakali, Radhe krishna and Annapoorni. It has a separate temple for Mrityunjay mahadev in the form of linga. The main sanctorum has a relatively large shiv linga made with solidified Mercury and hence called Paradeshwar. It also has a murti of mahadev, ganesh and parvati along with a large photograph of the religious guru who installed...

Famous mahadeva temple in parbhani maharashtra and all over India. A mercury mahadev statue is a key feature of this temple. Everyday many people come to pray lord mahadeva from many states of india. The temple is situated in core area of city. So easily anyone can reach here from anywhere. Distance from railway station and bus stop is about 4km. By auto rikshaw you can come here in only 10 minutes and fare about 30 to 40 rupees. Here is a goshala also. The main plus point of goshala is the fooder is cultivated here for the cattle. So pure fodder meet to eat for cattle. You must visit here minimum once in...

A very rare type of temple where the presiding deity is shivling made up of Parad (mercury). It is very rare to find Paradeshwar shivling in temples. The parad shivling is of 250 kg and hence quite heavy and large. There is another shivling called Mahamrityunjay mahadev in another shrine. It is made up of of kasauti stone. Kasauti stone is used for testing purity of gold. There are other small shrines of various deities within the premises. The entrance facade of temple is quite imposing.

It is so large temple, have so much premises which i like the most.Have nice and soulful atmosphere,But i go there on market day, so i suffered from so much crowded road, which was really difficult to pass by car. I suggest you to not go by car on such crowdy day. It is must visit temple Specifically there is shivling of metal Para (Mercury), so it is called Pareshwar.🙏🏻

It's unique Shiva temple where the shiv linga is made up of Mercury (Para/Parad). It's one and only the largest mercury lingam in India situated in the heart of Parabhani city (a district in Maharashtra). A must see Shivlinga once in a lifetime. The commute to Parabhani is possible through railways and Roadways.
