Simply heaven.Serene .Epitome of SILENCE.beautiful temple. The sheer power one feels at the Shivling that grows every year and the ganga doesn't dry out ever. The pandits ,gaurav family , looking after it since the 11th century and are the 21st decendants. The surrounding is very pristine. The golden giri mountain surrounding this is a sight to watch.Must visit and spend "Me" time here. There is bhakt niwas to stay as well The drive is also memorable.Fell in love . My interpretation of the swambhu shivling is that it is exactly similar to a RUDRAKSH and grows every year in the size of a wheat grain. The trickle of water ,represents the year drops of SHIVA which is the RUDRAKSH. The never ending flow of water is blessed by goddess Parvati who requested SHIVA to curtail the ganga flowing through his JATA as it would flood the surrounding.

Shri Vriddheswar Temple its location is near to ahemadnagar i will recommed for own / rented vechicle as in nearby is Madhi and Mayamba pl visit these spots also. vrideshwar has its own website pl refer it for detail info in all a great experience I will suggest a must visit at this place The place is serene and you feel the connection with Almighty. The place is important part of places of Nath Sampraday. It is said that Lord Shankar himself is available there and the Shivlinga there increases in size each year and hence the name Vriddheshwar.
