This comes in way to Igatpuri, you need to take a detour, before Kasari ghat to reach this location. Use your GPS to reach this location since, this waterfall is situated at a not so prominent cut on the left side of the road.
There is an entry chage of 10 rs per person or 25 rs per car
Parking is there but as expected it is not so organized, you have to be very cautious to park the vehicles.
The descent to the waterfall is bit risky and not suitable for small kids, old persons ,heavily build individuals or people suffering from vertigo. The same is steep and rocky and the situation is more bad post rains when they become very slippery.
Depth of water post approaching the waterfall can go upto 5 ft. There are rocks just below the waterfall where you can sit and relax. There you can sit and enjoy the feeling of water coming all over you. This was a truly amazing experience.
This is indeed one of the fascinating waterfall in close proximity to Mumbai/Thane with a proper waterfall and a natural pondbelow.
The climb back is also bit treacherous and require major control and coordination.
