This place is quite inside the Bhadrawati. You'll have to travel by vehicle a lot inside till the Buddha Vihar, and from there, you'll have to walk to the caves. There is no entry ticket for visitors. The cave here has a statue of Lord Buddha at the bottom and another Lord Buddha statue at the top of the cave, where you have to climb up. You have stairs for the bottom one. The statue at the bottom is an ancient statue that was discovered during excavation. It's quite a dark place, so be ready with your phone torches. This place is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; do visit and leave on time. It's a historical place of the city as well as a religious place with the significance of Buddhism, so bear in mind the surroundings and don't litter the place or vandalize it with your lover's name. It's a quite remarkable place for Buddhism, as it denotes the history of ancient India. Bear in mind the surroundings, and don't litter the place or vandalize it with your lover's name. If you are around Bhadravati you can visit this place, there are few interesting places here to visit and this is one amongst it. Its a buddhist cave and i understand it must be meditation center for buddist as you have small seats built inside the cave where they must have used to meditate or practice there spiritual journey. The place is very peaceful. lord Buddha and lord Mahavir's statue has been carved on the rocks its beautiful but have gone little old. You asked not to wear shoes inside and not to click photos. We did meditate for sometime to feel the positive energy around us in the cave. Once you are done you can climb the cave from outside its just like 10-15 mins simple trekking where once u reach top you get a good view of the city plus...

Went here with few of my friends, it a typical archaeological site with a cave with 3 Buddhist idols, villagers now mounted one more Buddhas idol on top of the hill as well. Around 20-23 km from chandrapur and 3-4 km from bhadravati, easy to locate by google maps Site does have facility for drinking water and toilet but is done through local help and crowd funding (Sponsored by Samata sainik dal ) Bit of government help would have changed fortune of such archaeological...
