A beautiful and calm place to enjoy with your family and friends. It is a little known spot but yet it is booked completely during a proper public holiday. Here are the pros and cons of this place-
Pros: During the day, the resort is very quite and peaceful (other than the occasional music played by the staff for dance parties). There is a large peepul tree (hence the name), in the middle of the resort that gives it a magnificent look. Just behind the resort there is a river with completely clean water which does not contain even the slightest impurity (human generated). A little trek up this river and you can find a small picturesque waterfall. If you pick the correct time, then you can have the entire river and waterfall to yourself. The food is very good. But don't ask for uncommon dishes as there are no chefs around, just village boys with little knowledge of cooking. The air outside the rooms is extremely fresh compared to the polluted city air. There is a club at one end of the resort where they play loud music so that you can dance.
Cons: The location is situated around 20-25 minutes from Badlapur station. None of the rickshaws at the station seem to know the location. So either you must bring your own car, or get a private paid transport (like we did). As the place is situated a little away from the city, and almost in a valley, you will barely get any network. They have there own Wi-Fi, which does not work most of the time. At night, there is a powercut almost every other day, and the place becomes pitch black. We had to use our flashlights an candles(provided by them after almost 2 hours) for quite some time. There is zero air ventilation in the non AC rooms. You must keep the windows open at all times for air. If you close both, the windows and the door, then only one fan keeps on circulating the same air in the room. If there is a powercut, then even that fan turns off. There is no use keeping the windows open at night, as all sorts of reptiles would enter the room. The rooms lack basic amenities like a TV or even a simple dustbin, but atleast there is a shower. There is a club at one end of the resort where they play very loud music that completely obliterates your eardrums.
Come here for a day picnic, and leave...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. It's a loss of your money... โจThe staff over here is not cooperative & not responding for calls (Blocked My Number ) they don't know how to talk to customers.
This is my genuine experience below. This is a very horrible resort that I have been to. Let's start from the beginning
This resort is located in the deep interiors of Badlapur, it's very far from station and there are no means of transport except local auto rickshaw.
Hygeine - I want to give a 0 out of 10 for this, since they lack hygiene big time, room was not proper clean. cockroaches in the rooms given by them, toilets are not cleaned it's a complete mess.
Swimming pool- They have a very tiny swimming pool and that too it's not well chlorinated, the pool is so tiny that only 4-5 people at once can accommodate the pool effectively. I shouldn't have used the pool because I got rashes on my skin the next day.
Food - The food included in the package is totally waste and tasteless and if you order anything alacarte then you will be surprised with their exorbitant rates. The food is also limited, so if you reach the canteen during their meal hours then you will get the food otherwise you starve.
Arrogant and Rude behaviour of the owner Priya Yadav: The lady names Priyanka who handles enquiries here is really very unprofessional and dont have sense to talk to customer. We already Booked Non Ac Rooms For 8 persons Cost per head 1600 & AC Rooms for 4 persons Cost 1800 but she charged cost 1800 for 12 people's & even AC was Not used in One room. l really dont understand what kind of calculation is this? Seriously !!this is the way she speaks to customer..
The cherry on top - At the end of this heated argument with owner Priya, she said us 'itne paise ne itna hi milega'.
very very unprofessional.. ๐๐๐
After this we didn't say a word and left the resort asap with huge disappointment and...
