यवतेश्वर मंदिर हे भारतातील महाराष्ट्रातील सातारा जिल्ह्यातील सातारा तालुक्यातील यवतेश्वर गावात स्थित भगवान शिवाला समर्पित एक हिंदू मंदिर आहे. हे मंदिर पश्चिम घाटाच्या पर्वत रांगेत वसलेले आहे. हे मंदिर समुद्रसपाटीपासून सुमारे 2500 फूट उंचीवर आहे. हे मंदिर 13 व्या शतकात देवगिरीच्या सेउना यादव राजघराण्याने बांधले असे मानले जाते. हे मंदिर भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षणाने घोषित केलेल्या महाराष्ट्रातील राज्य संरक्षित स्मारकांपैकी एक आहे. हे मंदिर पूर्वाभिमुख प्रवेशद्वार कमानीसह आहे. प्रवेशद्वाराच्या कमानीतून पायऱ्या उतरून मंदिरात प्रवेश करता येतो. मंदिराच्या तळाशी गेल्यावर डाव्या बाजूला दीपस्तंभ आहे. मंदिर हेमाडपंथी स्थापत्य शैलीचे अनुसरण करते. मंदिरात गर्भगृह, अंतराळ, सभा मंडप आणि मुख मंडप आहे. गर्भगृहात प्रमुख देवता, यवतेश्वर हे शिवलिंगाच्या रूपात विराजमान आहे. भगवान हे स्वयंभूमूर्ती (स्वतः प्रकट) आहेत. नंदी मंडपात गर्भगृहाकडे तोंड करून नंदीच्या दोन मूर्ती दिसणे हे अद्वितीय आहे. मंदिर परिसरात काळभैरवनाथ, गणेश आणि पार्वतीची तीर्थस्थाने आहेत. मंदिराच्या मागे पायऱ्यांनी प्रवेश करण्यासाठी कुंड (पाण्याची टाकी) आहे. महाशिवरात्री आणि श्रावण महिन्यातील सोमवार येथे मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरे केले जातात. The temple is situated in the western ghats mountain range. The temple is situated at about 2500 feet above the mean sea level. The temple is believed to be built in 13th century CE by the Seuna Yadav Dynasty of Devagiri. The temple is one of the state protected monuments in Maharashtra declared by Archaeological Survey of India. This temple is facing towards east with an entrance arch. The temple can be accessed by climbing down flight of steps from the entrance arch. There is a deepa sthamba situated on the left side immediately after reaching the floor level of the temple. The temple follows Hemadpanthi style of architecture. The temple consists of sanctum, antrala, sabha mandapa and mukha mandapa. The sanctum enshrines the presiding deity, Yavateshwar in the form of Shiva Linga. Lord is a Swayambhu Moorthy (self-manifested).
