Really good place to see Pitcher plants which are native to meghalaya. Could locate many small bushes full of insect catching bulbs. Just look outside the walls and below the edge of rocks. Almost abandoned with no tourist visiting. But worth a visit of you wish to see one of rare species.

The lake was once built to attract tourism. Then it went through a period of utter negligence. It's being renovated now. I did see a lot of dead pitcher plants and a few dying. Hopefully the govt will revive tourism here.

It's one small lake on the side of the highway.. and easily visible. The most important attraction here was the pitcher plant which trap insects for nutrition..

This is a very nice place to come by. This is a man made place. Parking is available. Very cozy environment. People around here are very decent in nature. This place is ideal for get-together, parties, ceremonies etc. Not so big lake but okay with that. Surrounding beauty is...

As of Oct20th,the lake is closed for public and no one knows when it will be opened.The small hilltop viewpoint is open and perfect for some beautiful pictures of four lakes.Not sure where the pitcher plants are located but I was able to see them on the way to...
