This was a beach a few years ago. But now half is it has been occupied by the military for bridge building training(they build a float bridge in one night and transport vehicles to Manori as part of the exercise). The other half has now been cemented and used as dock for boats (essel world and Manori) the remaining right side of the beach is occupied by fisherman boats. Basically you have around 2-3 acres of so called beach for the general public that's it. All the chaat vendors charge 10 - 20 bucks extra for all snacks. Just tell them you are a local and they give you a discount. There are pay and parks as the free parking has now been closed after covid. You can still park on the beach if you get a spot for free. You can purchase fresh fish in the morning when the boats dock. Also you can drink alcohol on the right hand side of the beach from say 6:pm till 10:pm cops don't say anything as the locals have used the place as their personal bar since ages. Don't dare swim here as the current is the strongest from Marve to Aksa. Even locals and pro swimmers...

The beach is close to Malad West railway station, which is on the Western Railway line.

From here you can take BEST bus no.272, and you need to get off at the last stop.

Movement on the beach is restricted as it has a narrow width, and since it is very close to the Indian Naval base, which includes INS Hamla.

It is a good spot for evening and morning walks and to enjoy the fresh air. Swimming is not allowed due to the strong currents and sinking sand. There is no specific timing for Marve Beach. It is open throughout the day and can be visited at any time. There is no entry fee. You will see many families visiting the beach on Sundays. It is a small beach but has all the excitement like Boating, Street food, Children’s toys, Restaurants, vehicle parking, etc.
