Shri Narmadeshwar Temple near Mankhurd Station, situated a few minutes walk from DAE colony (Anushaktinagar), towards Cheeta Camp, is one of the oldest Shiv Ji temple in Mumbai. It's a serene place. During Shravan Month, every Monday, the Holy Shiv Ling is decorated with flowers, Ice made Shivlings of 12 Jyotirlingas... the site of which generates positive vibes all over. The Arti takes place at around 9 pm which is also live telecast on youtube. The arti is performed for about an hour, after which you may get darshan. It may take about an hour sometimes to get darshan. The other days of Shravan and in general are comfortable, where you may get darshan almost instantly. The temple has its own parking space for about 5 four wheelers and as many two wheelers. Outside temple, roadside parking is available, but ususally difficult to get it nearby on Shravan Mondays....
