Visited this beautiful waterfall recently and had a wonderful time. You can swim in the waterfall, though the steps to reach it are quite big and may not be suitable for seniors. If you're driving a four-wheeler, you'll need to park about 100 meters away. It's directly accessible by bike. One thing to note: Google Maps shows the wrong route. To get there from city, enter from Godown Stop bus stop/Sai Mandir then follow the road until banyan tree (Vadacha Zhad) .. four wheelers will need to stop here, two wheelers can take right and follow the road (paved but rough) to the waterfall.

If I am not wrong then this is the nearest waterfall from Ratnagiri town. You have to walk through the bush for about three hundred metres from the main road to reach this place. I am not clear about the source of water of this waterfall. But it is popular amongst the locals and they use to take bath in it. Take extra precautions if you're with kids.

This place is very near to city, you have to take a 2min off road walk. Very lonely as you will not find many people visiting this place. After Ganesh Chaturthi it has gone very dirty with lots of plastic and pop made Ganesh idols which are still as it is even after 20days. Bad for beautiful nature.
