Dzüü Resort — Attraction in Nagaland

Distance: Took more than an hour to ride down from Kohima town.

Road condition: Paved and wide but not black topped.

Spot: Property seems to cover quite a large area but looks like it is in its infancy stage.

Facilities available: Open halls, dorma, a small park for kids and a swimming pool was seen.

Accomodation: Single/double bedded cottages are there. I think around 10 nos. Stayed for one night in one of the premium rooms and it was excellent. Ample space, a sitting lounge, an attached balcony and wide bathroom with shower. Basic amenities need to be carried on their own.

Food and drinks: There is a restaurant at the entrance of the resort where one can order from the fixed menu. Won't say it's the best in the food quality but it was not bad as well. Average.

Final comments: I think it is ideal for people who want to get away from the people and spend some alone time with nature. Because it is deep down in the valley, do not expect scenic views of the mountain. The river following the place can be a great picnic spot. I had high expectations for Dzü Resort, but unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. The place looks great in photos, but the actual maintenance is poor. The swimming pool was dirty, and the baptism pool was not functioning properly. The children's park was unsafe, with broken equipment and no supervision.

The restaurant service was extremely slow, and the food was overpriced for the quality. Staff seemed uninterested and untrained—basic hospitality was lacking. We also faced issues with cleanliness in the restrooms and poor management of the camping area.

What could have been a peaceful nature getaway turned into a frustrating experience. Unless major improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend this...

Well firstly one must know that this is outskirt of the village .. Deep down near the river so you cannot expect very good road conditions but on the other side bumpy road leads to adventurous place so do not complain. But if you are looking for smooth road to destination this one is not for you. You won't regret watching the green views along with bumpy road. Good place to visit especially on Monday Tues if you are searching for less crowded. Remember that the food prices will be higher. Very good environment no matter how much people criticise it.
