This is a good place to hangout for everyone. BUT I am giving only two stars for a reason, and anyone can understand why if they read this entire comment. I am aware that NEZCC is an important cultural center for the Northeast Indian states. I have seen many events take place here.

However, unfortunately, many people—including those living in Dimapur—are not even aware that this is also a tourist attraction. Many years ago, there used to be numerous cultural events celebrating Northeast India here. I remember that in the 1990s, I was part of a performing group! ā˜ŗļø But it feels like decades since we last heard of such events happening.

Despite having large buildings and halls, they remain underutilized. This is truly disheartening, and it raises many questions about the functioning of NEZCC. Years ago, when the Director was a local person, NEZCC was more well-known. But now, we don’t even know who the current Director is or when they come and go.

Why is there not a single event or program that people in Dimapur can hear about and attend? 😔 This place has vast infrastructure and facilities, yet it lies dormant. The situation is serious, and I believe the Ministry of Culture in New Delhi must take corrective action.

We would love to see NEZCC become a vibrant place for both young and old—a place where people can experience the rich cultural diversity of Northeast India without having to travel across the Sister States.

Today, after attending a wedding reception here, I was reminded that such a place exists! I wonder if Nagaland’s civil societies and the State Government can push for its revival—shake things up and ensure that the current Director takes action. We can make it happen, right? I truly believe so.

With a heavy heart and a disturbed mind, I am sharing this so that more people become aware of NEZCC’s current state. God willing, may we soon witness a revived and active NEZCC. And when an event is finally organized here, I will be praying that I can be there to...

Stone Garden at NEZCC, Dimapur, is a hidden gem that beautifully showcases the cultural heritage of Northeast India through stunning stone sculptures. The garden is peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing stroll or a picnic with family and friends.

The intricate stone carvings, created by talented local artisans, add a unique charm to the place. The lush greenery and open spaces make it an ideal spot for photography and unwinding. It’s also a great place to learn about the region’s traditions and artistry.

Highly recommended for art lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a serene...

A nice small place for a family outing. Make sure you bring your food & beverages because there's not much options there.

Kids just LOVE this place. Gone are the days when kids used to roam around in jungles with catapults šŸ˜‚ So if your kid is bored, just bring him/her here for some fresh air.

Like all public places in our State, this place and it's surrounding is starting to struggle with cleanliness. So the next time you visit, PLEASE USE THE DUSTBIN & CLEAN YOUR OWN MESS.

Cheers & have a good...

It's the best park around here in Dimapur to spend romantic quality time with your partners under sheds or you can take your kids there to play. The best thing here is they have sculptures in many different types basing on different states of India. I would encourage one to pay a visit as the price for entry fees are nominal and the place is just too good. It's evergreen all around and you won't feel like leaving the place.

A beautiful n spacious place adjacent to NEZCC. One can relax n enjoy in the bliss of nature away from hustle n bustle of busy city life. Children park, stone crafts from all over India are being displayed. Best for Family, Group gathering. For first timers take the airport road n straight ahead some 100 metres after crossing the airport gate. 😌😁

A beautiful place to hang out with family and friends. It is also the perfect place for school children to come here for picnics and other activities. I saw many schools visit this place. I love the aesthetic and management of the park but some places needs to be cleaned. Plastic wrappers spoil the beauty of the park.
