I recently visited the Sri Balaji and Sri Karthikeya Mandir in Seminary Hills, Nagpur, and it was a spiritually uplifting experience. Nestled amidst the serene and green surroundings of Seminary Hills, this temple offers a perfect blend of devotion, peace, and natural beauty.
The Sri Balaji Mandir is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara (Balaji), and the divine atmosphere instantly fills you with calmness. The intricate carvings on the temple walls and the beautiful idol of Lord Balaji reflect the essence of South Indian temple architecture. Adjacent to it is the Sri Karthikeya Mandir, devoted to Lord Murugan (Karthikeya), which adds to the temple’s spiritual aura.
What makes this place truly special is its tranquil ambiance — away from the city’s noise, surrounded by lush greenery, it’s an ideal spot for meditation and prayer. The priests are welcoming and conduct daily rituals and aarti with great devotion, allowing visitors to feel connected to the divine.
The temple premises are clean and well-maintained, with enough space for devotees to sit and reflect. Whether you seek spiritual solace or simply wish to enjoy the peaceful environment, the Sri Balaji and Sri Karthikeya Mandir, Seminary Hills is a must-visit...

Read moreI was very much surprised to see a south temple here in Nagpur. That too on my birthday today 06-Dec-2024, I didn't ask more than this. I was blessed to have a pleasant darshan here. Connectivity was very easy. The temple maintenance here is top notch like Iskcon even though with limited staffs. Thanks to the co operative devotees who treat this as their own temple and keep.it clean. No unwanted shops, speaker noise, crowded public which made is even more attractive. Of course, mobile phones here are not allowed to take photography or video shoots which I missed a lot to save in memories. The kartikeya sannidhi above Balaji sannidhi is highlight here. All other murthy in a small cage like structures around the temple complex. A big Raja Gopuram like South Indian Temples is the...
