The reason for this is that there is no authority monitoring the beach because of which it has unrestricted access for everybody. Apart from the untidyness, everything about the beach is great. There are not much people and there are trees all along the beach. Also the place has not been commercialised too much unlike places like Kashid and Alibaug. The drawback is that there are no fun activities available on the beach (such as para-sailing, quad bike, jet ski, banana ride etc).
