Butterfly Garden Botanical Garden Nashik — Attraction in Nashik

This botanical garden is called the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Park. It is 15 mins walk from Budhaleni Caves on the Mumbai Agra Highway. Right now due to summers the garden is quiet dry. Maybe after the rains this garden would be greener.

To reach:

You need a private vehicle for your travel as there are very less local autorickshaw outside the gate. And in the night the roads are very isolated to walk for a small distance to ferry a rickshaw.

Tip: you can hire a rickshaw/vehicle . Ola and uber works here but the facility has just started so there are very few people working on it.

Attractions:

The major attraction of this park is the Laser show. It's the best laser show I have seen in Maharashtra. It's a family show and a great message to all who watch.

Fees: entry fee for a adult is RS. 50. Show timings are from 7:30 pm and 8:00pm

A Wonderful place of Khanvel which is 35 km away from Silvassa. I hat off to Dadra & Nagar Haveli Tourism Dept for developing such a wonderful place. It is experiencing like walking inside a real jungle. You can see various types of butterflies, by its model statues. You can see some 5, 6 types of real life butterfly too. Lovly place for all age group persons. Inside park, 2, 3 shed like structures are there, where you can get relaxed. Also one elevated structure to enjoy the full view of park, one pond full of lotus gives dinner to your eyes. A small museum with a lawn is located opposite to park with a entry ticket of Rs.10, do not miss its night life set up. Dont miss that colorful sliced ice, outside of park.

This place is situated on the way from Nashik to Mumbai on National Highway Number 3. It's about 15 KM from Centre of the City. The place is governed by Forest Department of Maharashtra State Government. It is developed on idea suggested by Resp. Shri. Rajsaheb Thackeray jee (Founder of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena). The place is having various gardens inside. They charge rupees 30 for adults while childrens can enter free of cost. The place daily has 2 lazer shows that are good to enjoy. The place has variety of plants and trees that are usually hard to find and identify as well. It's a good pace for a day trip with your younger flowers. The place easy to reach.
