An unexplored beauty of Navi Mumbai . .. it's still not a tourist spot mostly locals visit here.. the way to the falls are a bit rough.. but it's fun to reach n explore the place.. place is still clean with fresh waterfall .. usually crowded on weekends with locals.. a family visiting. Place.. may youngsters also visit but it doesn't stop families to visit the place.. we tried and explored how much we could.. still parts remaining... In the late 1960s early 70s my dad John Stewart was Works Manager of Herdillia Chemicals Ltd At the time there were only a few houses maybe 30 or so that belonged to the factory His house was on the side of the hill to the east of the factory Below the waterfall we used to swim in the river as children on our school holidays I wouldnt recognize the place now I did notice that there is a Swamy Engineering company there Old Swamy was my dads bearer / in charge of the house I N hope it is the same family Lots of very pleasant memories before the place...
