Nizampatnam is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Nizampatnam mandal in Tenali revenue division.[2] The Dutch occupied the city for trading from 1606−1668
It was ruled by Velanati Chodas in the 12-13th century AD.
