Kuanria Deer Park — Attraction in Odisha

It's a a great stopover tourist place enroute to Phulbani or Bhubaneswar in Nayagarh... Though amenities for tourists can be improved in terms of toilets or good cafes nearby...We must understand that animals are best protected in their natural habitat...A must stopover place especially if kids are with you...🤩🥰❤️👌👍

Kuanria, a picturesque getaway, about 50 kms from Nayagarh, comprises of a huge reservoir flanked by blue hillocks and a 1.5 kms long dam over River Kuanria. Among the top attractions is a large deer park spread over 6 acres by the river basin. The park is home to about 160 numbers of spotted deer, barking deer and sambar. A large number of migratory birds also flock to this reservoir during winters. The tranquil beauty of the hills, river, forests and the deer park make the place a much sought after retreat by the tourists. Tourists can avail medical facility at CHC, Madyakhanda and CHC Dasapalla which are nearest to the place. SBI Dasapalla is the nearest Bank to the spot.

Okk it's an awesome place. There is no shops with in a hundred metres but you can find pediatricians selling stuffs like ice creams, Kurkure etc. Ok about the park..its like a big football field without a single grass and something about 50 to 70 deer. And there are slides and for others there are chairs. There's also a lawn inside. Ok if you have visited Nandankanan Zoological Park there visiting here is worth less... this park is as big as the one compartment for the deer in...

This place is really touch to my heart and a very good environment there.
