Ludu Waterfall, Kandhamal District Odisha — Attraction in Odisha

Very attractive waterfall with natural beauty. Best place for picnic. Infact this fall is larger than Midubandha waterfall located in Daringbadi. This place is 5.5 km from Subarnagiri and 25 km from Kotagad. Road to Subarnagiri from Kotagad is motorable and in good condition. But the road from Subarnagiri to Kotagad is in extreme bad condition. In rainy season it's nearly impossible to reach at the gate of Ludu Waterfall. There is no shop nearby from which you can buy packaged drinking water and snacks or beverages. It's advised to buy these items and to keep it with you in advance. It's no doubt that it's a great waterfall with scenic beauty but government should take adequate and necessary steps for its overall development. There is a pedestrian road to Lower fall which should be replaced by steps. It's advised to avoid slippery rock surface. Bathing and picnic both are allowed here which is a good thing.

very nice waterfall with scenic view. Road is not good for last 14kms to reach as construction is going on and may take 1 year to complete.when you move down with stairs ,the first waterfall will be seen and to move to the 2nd waterfall called tala ludu ,you have to move downward for 300metre with very dangerous narrow hilly path and ladies should not go. 3rd ludu is more downward but no one should go downward. 1st ludu also look very beautiful.you can do picnic but you should take all requisite as there is no shop.
