Similijhar Waterfall: Nature's Cascading Symphony

Similijhar Waterfall is a natural masterpiece, a symphony of water and rock, hidden away in the heart of pristine wilderness. This hidden gem offers a captivating escape into nature's embrace, inviting visitors to witness the sheer beauty and power of cascading waters.

The primary attraction of Similijhar Waterfall is, of course, the waterfall itself. As you approach it, the distant roar of rushing water gradually becomes a crescendo that reverberates through the forest. And then, as you lay eyes on the waterfall, nature's spectacle unfolds. The water, tumbling gracefully down a rocky cliff, creates a mesmerizing display of motion and sound that captures the senses.

What makes Similijhar truly special is its remote location, nestled deep within the embrace of the wilderness. This isolation ensures an authentic and unspoiled natural experience. The lush surroundings, with their rich flora and fauna, add to the enchantment, making every visit a journey into the heart of untouched nature.

For the adventurous souls, Similijhar Waterfall offers more than just a visual treat. The surrounding area provides opportunities for trekking and exploration, allowing you to immerse yourself further in the wilderness. It's a destination where adventure and tranquility coexist harmoniously.

While Similijhar Waterfall's remote location contributes to its pristine beauty, it also means that amenities are limited. Visitors should be prepared with essentials, including food and water, to fully enjoy their time here. Additionally, responsible tourism is crucial to preserving the natural balance of this environment.

In conclusion, Similijhar Waterfall is a nature lover's paradise, where the beauty of cascading waters meets the tranquility of untouched wilderness. Its remote location, pristine surroundings, and immersive experience make it a destination that celebrates the grandeur of nature. Whether you seek adventure or simply a moment of serenity, Similijhar Waterfall invites you to witness the breathtaking spectacle of nature's cascading symphony and create memories that resonate with the wonders of the...

Mst place for picnic feastIt's a good place but the Nature at its best , it is around 110 km from Bhubaneswar. The hills are totally covered in greenery. You have to do a little bit hiking to go to the main waterfall area. At down also water is there but you will find clean water at top. The place is very refreshing and soothing. Definitely a good place to visit.people make it too crowded. It's a place to enjoy and feel relaxed but all are busy taking photos and videos. I recommend visiting this place not on public holidays nor weekends rather than on weekdays if possible it would be less crowded....Superb place to visit. Mostly when moderate water in there. Like in the winter, before summer and little after rainy seasons. Autumn season is best for it. But highly recommend not to visit there in the rainy season. I have recently went there and the stream was quite heavy and intense. Then suddenly it rained and after 20 minutes the area just got flooded. From God's grace we made it to safer place before that. Otherwise we would be stalked at there foe perhaps 2 hours..and who knows we would make it dead or alive!! 😳. About the place, it is undeveloped by humans but highly developed by nature. U gonna love this place for granted. I am sending two videos of the place before...

Scenic, absolutely stunning place. Though the waterfall is not that huge/long but it spreads across a long distance. There are more than 2-3 waterfalls there and at top the view is amazing. Must visit the place atleast once.

If I would not tell you the negatives or say drawbacks then it will not be fair enough.

When we arrived there we were informed that due to Magistrate/Nayagarh Family Court Judge and his family is visiting the place hence you can't go and picnic there which is absolutely nonsense since the property doesn't belong to him or these policeman. The police me well did their outing there with big tents and yet didn't allow the public.

Govt has not done anything at all to make this place better , roads are bad from sarankul and the place is unknown to many due to lack of promotion.

The place is very dirty and filled with lots of garbage and guess what the govt doesn't...
