Wonder World Water Park and Resort — Attraction in Odisha

I have visited Wonderworld Puri last time some months back and now after visiting Wonderla Bhubaneswar I am mentioning my review by comparing both places 1-Place wise both locations are best as one (Wonderworld)is located in Puri where as another (Wonderela) is at outskirts of BBSR city 2-In Wonderworld the ticket cost is lesser than wonderela which comprises of a complimentary soft drinks and lunch where as in wonderela lunch is extra chargeable 3-Wonderworld is having less number of dry rides but count of water rides is well enough i.e like roller coaster other swing rides are not there where as wonderela is having dry rides along with water rides 4-In Wonderworld if someone wears non cotton dresses they are not forcing them to buy their costumes if it's manageable but in wonderela if some one is wearing non cotton costume and even a single button is there in tshirt they they are not allowing to water rides and forcing for buying costumes from their shops. 5-Food quality in Non AC area in wonderela is worst and of high price where as food quality in Wonderworld is well enough 6-All the rides in wonderela are not working while asking staffs are misbehaving but in Wonderworld all rides are operational 7-Food items in wonderela are high price I. e.A piece of samosa they are charging 50 rupees where as in Wonderworld its normal price 8-I don't know what is the actual capacity of wonderela but count of people in park was very high when I went and in each dry rides I had to wait for minimum 1 hr.Also after waiting for a ride almost 1 hr their staff said the ride is not working and while asking staffs are behaving in arrogant way.Where as in Wonderworld staffs I have not experienced no such occurrence also the staffs in Wonderworld are polite and co-operative enough Finally as per my experience I can say if you want to have a great,fun and enjoyable vacation go to Wonderworld don't go to wonderela like place where management is money oriented and staffs are rude. To the Management please address the below issues if you want happy customers to return again:

For me NO I won’t visit again sorry.

1. Major issue is in the family section slides. You literally get stuck throughout all the rides. There is no staff in these rides to control the traffic and imagine someone is already stuck on the slide. I got a super kick on my shoulders from another customer while I was trying to force my way out of the slide.

2. Food : If you have regular ticket (not vip) their food quantity is as if you are a child. I’ve very low diet as adult even then I felt the quantities were intentionally lowered to force vip ticket sales so that you can have required quantity of food.

3. Cleaning : When it comes to hygiene I think you want to be super careful (mainly kids) to not swallow the water as no one uses the washrooms and you know how these customers stay without pee for 4/5 hours. It’s disgusting to even think but its bitter truth. Management please put sign boards to enforce the use of washrooms.

4. Kids: The sign boards says kids should be above 3.5ft to enjoy the big rides but the staff didn’t allow my 8 year 4ft daughter saying she is very thin, nor any group ride which I said I will accompany.

5. Kids: There is no ticket for small kids but at the same time they don’t allow even biscuits/juice for your baby to take inside. This is so much...

Worst experience ever.

Cons:

Costly tickets (Rs. 1250 per person). We went on Raja Day and they might have increased the ticket price for that but it was not worth it.

Too crowded. We had to queue for everything in the summer heat. Starting from getting the locker key and swim suit to eating the lunch. The heat was unbearable.

Unhygienic. The floor of the locker and changing room were muddy and the rooms were smelling very bad due to too many people and their sweat. The water in park was dirty. The slides were dirty. The swim suit that they provided was also smelling bad.

Bad Food There were only 3-4 items in the menu and it didn't taste good. The chicken was hard and not cooked properly.

No Fun Slides and Activities Not a single slide in the park work. If you try to slide down from the top of the slide, you will be stuck after few meters and then have to slide down using your own force. There is 0 maintenance in the park.

Rude Behaviour The employee and staffs were very rude and you will not be treated as a customer. No one has time for you and your queries.

Pros: None There isn't a single thing good about this park. I feel my money and time was wasted coming to this park. Everything that you can think of that can go bad will be bad.

Do yourself and your family a favour and avoid this water park at all costs and spare yourself...
