Sree sant Eknath (1533-1599) was a santt in the Warkari sect of Maharashtra. He was born In 1533, Paithan was born here.

Eknath considered the Janardan Swami of Devgiri (Daulatabad) as his teacher. Eknath got his education from Vedanta, Yoga, Bhaktiyog, and learned from him. Nath was born after 250 years after Sant Dnyaneshwar. Saying 'Open Door Open', Nath made public awareness with the help of Bharud, Jogwa, Gavalani, Ghuddhal.
