Pondicherry University Beach — Attraction in Puducherry

One of the best beaches to visit early morning to witness sunrise. The day I visited was cloudy, so i wasn't fortunate enough to watch the red hot sun rising. But the weather was superb so as the sky. There is place for parking, there are eatery outlets near the beach. This place is also superb at night to see the stars and moon. I would never miss a chance to visit here again. I enjoyed swimming here and the tides are really heavy and the depth is too much, i would recommend only swimmers to swim here, people who don't know to swim need...

The beach is infront of Pondicherry university. The sun rise is the mist watch event from the beach hence the morning view is really beautiful. The view of early morning fisherman return from sea with fishes are beautiful to watch. Some times in the nights bioluminescence is visible . Serene fishing beach . Not safe for swimming and any other water activities but you can walk around the shore and enjoy the beauty and glance at the fury of nature.
