I visited this lake today Oct2025. Felt extremely happy that this lake and the nearby lake(windare lake??) is not swallowed by the Properly builders using their political inflence. Big salute to the goverment for keeping this lake alive. I used to come and swim in this lake early 1990's and visit here whenever i come to Pondicherry. Hope the Govt continues the lake...

Very good place. Awesome place for walk and other physical exercises. You can take your two wheeler or walk around the lake for a good time pass.
