Located around 5 kilometres from Budge Budge station and in close proximity to the Hooghly River, lies the Achipur Chinese Temple, representing one of the earliest Chinese settlements in India. This temple was constructed under the supervision of a Chinese businessman named Yang Da Zhao who hailed from Guangdong province.    Read moreI visited this temple on 13.08.2022. Morning time the temple is closed now but in the evening time it is open. Caretaker of the temple can open the temple to visitors if available there. Basically the temple premises is a good spot to visit during winter time. Communication is little bit problematic. You have to come there by own car or reserved auto from Budgebudge Railway Station. Otherwise take share auto from above Railway Station to Achipur Bara Battala and then by walking about a kilometer, if luck permits can...
