Deccan College - Archaeology Museum — Attraction in Pune

This is a premier PG and research institute pf Archeology, linguistics, Sanskrit and culture. The museum is an amazing place and they have many unique artifacts excavated from various sites. It is however unfortunate to see the lack of attention in terms of paucity of funding, filling up faculty positions, upkeep of the museum etc. If the central and the state govt , along with private institutions take it upon themselves to preserve this gem and showcase it to the world, it would make India proud. Time is running out for this wonderful place of education and if would be a shame if we lose historical evidences just because of apathy.
