Shri Pindori Dham (Gurdaspur) is a unique institution in Punjab for its beneficent and public welfare Activities. It was founded by a holy saint, Yogiraj Shri Bhagwan Ji, in the times of Emperor Jahangir to serve the spiritual cause. His saint established this seat in a humble, thatched cottage in a jungle. The spiritual power of the saint so much impressed the Emperor Jahangir that he bestowed upon this institution a rich pension and a vast estate. From those times the charitable work of providing succour to the orphans and destitutes has been continuing even to these modern times. During this period all the saints and disciples who have followed their spiritual mentor, Shri Bhagwan Ji, have been giving special attention to this philanthropic institution, initiated by their divine father. Their devotion has inspired many rulers of the princely states to donate property to this institution to augment its income.

The late mahant of this spiritual seat, Vaishnavpeeth Dwaracharya Shri Swamy Ram Dass Ji was a living symbol of charity and philanthropy. He led a life of utter simplicity and self control. His heart was filled with the milk of human kindness, sympathy and betterment of humanity. During his times the income of the Darbar was utilised for the beneficent and benevolent activities. At present too his successor Shri Mahant Gobind Dass Ji is following his late Guru in true spirit and utilising the income of the Darbar for its...

A Peaceful and Divine Place – Pandori Dham, Talabpur

Pandori Dham in Talabpur, Gurdaspur, Punjab, is a truly spiritual and serene place that holds deep religious significance for countless devotees. The mandir is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by natural beauty, offering a perfect setting for spiritual reflection and inner peace.

The architecture of the mandir is simple yet elegant, with beautifully carved structures and idols that reflect devotion and tradition. The environment is clean, and the calmness of the surroundings makes it an ideal place for meditation and prayer. One of the highlights is the regular satsangs and kirtans, which bring spiritual energy and unity among the visitors.

The temple premises also provide basic facilities such as drinking water, shoe stands, and shaded areas for rest. The langar (community meal) served here is pure, simple, and offered with great love and humility.

Pandori Dham is not just a religious site; it is a spiritual experience. Whether you are a devotee or someone seeking peace away from the noise of daily life, this place offers solace. The local people are welcoming, and you can truly feel the presence of devotion and community spirit.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Gurdaspur region. It’s best to visit during morning or evening hours for a more peaceful experience. A must-visit for spiritual seekers and those interested in Punjab’s rich...

My parents say they are hooked to this place from Generations. So we have got to know this place from family only and we tend to visit twice or thrice a year. Whenever some marriage happens in my family, it is custom to donate bedsheets blanket and pillows here. Reason I don't know but that's what we are supposed to do as told by my great grand maternal mother. So recently we did that. Place is hub to nature. One can easily spot the peacocks here and all the Flora and fauna. The place has alot of importance. They say under guruji one pet dog specifically female dog just ate almost 50 KG opium in front of jahangeer जहांगीर badshah and then That king alloted the whole space wherever that dog went. Lot of parking space is available but the link road as of today was under construction which connects pandhori to national highway. Langar is available nearby 1 to 2PM. Tea snacks will be available from 4 PM. SBI bank and ATM are available here for working days only. One has to bow heads in front of Baba mahesh das ji temple while Coming and going also then only the visit will be completed. Market offers prasad which you can take along to temple. Do come and explore this place. Students cannot come without teachers. People come with newly married couples and get blessings of guruji. People come here to get the names of newly born babies....

This was my first visit to this place as i used to hear a-lot about it but never got a chance to visit. This time, during our punjab visit, we planned to go there in the morning itself. It was an hour approx journey from village kathour. You get a free parking there in front of the temple itself. The history and the stories of this place is so full of positivity and history. This is a beautiful place to be at and i must advise you to please pay a visit once there and you would love to go there again and again as i am going to visit it again during my next visit to punjab. This place is a whole vibe itself and you would get lost in the artistic view of this temple. You will also be served with chai and besan prasad in the temple. We missed seeking blessings from maharaj ji this time as they were out of town for a week or so. But would love to go there again as we could not see the whole temple in one visit. Anyone living in punjab should surely go there for once to have their blessings❤️

Pandori Dham is a serene and picturesque destination. The main gate and spacious parking area make it convenient for visitors. The temple's interior is meticulously maintained, exuding tranquility. The temple complex features various sacred spots for worship and reflection. We visited with our family and felt a deep sense of peace. There's also a cave, now closed, which was once used as a passage. It's said to stretch far, even connecting to Haridwar. Outside the temple lies a serene pond with a Shiva idol. We strolled around, enjoyed the park, and spotted peacocks nearby. During rainfall, the place becomes even more enchanting. *Tips for visiting:* 1. Ideal for family outings. 2. Offers spiritual solace and peace. 3. Natural beauty and peacock spotting. Pandori Dham is a haven for spiritual rejuvenation and relaxation.
