Shri Pindori Dham (Gurdaspur) is a unique institution in Punjab for its beneficent and public welfare Activities. It was founded by a holy saint, Yogiraj Shri Bhagwan Ji, in the times of Emperor Jahangir to serve the spiritual cause. His saint established this seat in a humble, thatched cottage in a jungle.The spiritual power of the saint so much impressed the Emperor Jahangir that he bestowed upon this institution a rich pension and a vast estate. From those times the charitable work of providing succour to the orphans and destitutes has been continuing even to these modern times. Whenever some marriage happens in my family, it is custom to donate bedsheets blanket and pillows here. Reason I don't know but that's what we are supposed to do as told by my great grand maternal mother. So recently we did that. Place is hub to nature. One can easily spot the peacocks here and all the Flora and fauna. The place has alot of importance. They say under guruji one pet dog specifically female dog just ate almost 50 KG opium in front of jahangeer जहांगीर badshah and then That king alloted the whole space wherever that dog went. Lot of parking space is available but the link road as of today was under construction which connects pandhori to national highway. Langar is available nearby 1 to 2PM. Tea snacks will be available from 4 PM. SBI bank and ATM are available here for working days only.One has to bow heads in front of Baba mahesh das ji temple while Coming and going also then only the visit will be completed. Market offers prasad which you can take along to temple. Do come and explore this place. Students cannot come without teachers. People come with newly married couples and get blessings of guruji.
